The rise of the Ukrainian nurses protest movement

In your opinion, how much do you need to earn to have a comfortable life? Despite their hopes for a decent salary, Ukrainian nurses face the harsh reality of surviving on a salary of just 245 euros per month.

On top of that, some of them are single mothers, raising children on their own. If you find this hard to imagine, watch our documentary about Oksana Slobodiana, a nurse and leader of the “BeLikeNina” movement.

The documentary by @commonsjournal will give you a glimpse into the activist’s everyday life, and how she fights against unfair working conditions and helps others. Drop by drop — the wave is gaining momentum! The main thing is to stand up for your rights! This shortdoc is part of our “Stories Breaking Borders” series.
