The fight for Polish Waters

As many other European countries, there is a ongoing fight over water use in Poland. From industrial projects to agricultural use, Polish citizens know very little on how water is used in their countries.

From draining wetlands, to changing landscapes and ongoing construction to allow enormous boats to travel on the Vistule river there is an underneath water crisis in Poland.

Sphera member @KrytykaPolitycznaTV ​teamed up with Piotr Bednarek, an environmental activist who leads the YouTube channel @WolneRzeki (Free Rivers in English) to interview Jan Mencwel who wrote the book “Hydrozagadka. Who takes away Polish water and how to get it back”.
