Energy Poverty

Poland: Winter is coming

In 2022, more and more people in our society spend more than 10% of their income on heating or cooling their home. Southern countries are more affected by this situation. For example, in Spain around 14% of people are affected by energy poverty while in Sweden it’s just 2%. The Polish government introduced a one-off grant on coal during winter and the European Commission is working on addressing insulation buildings issues for years but to this day, we still don’t know if they’ll introduce permanent solutions for thermal insulation.
