#Nextones aka the sounds of a quarry

Nextones is a unique festival in Europe. Taking place in late July in Val D’Ossola, in the Piemonte Region, it aims at being more than a place where people listen to music. This international festival of music and audio visual arts where, in an old quarry, you can listen and watch the most interesting artists of the contemporary scene.

Nextones is a part of the summer season of Tones Teatro Natura, a project that, through an environmental redevelopment process, want to transform an abandoned quarry into a theatre surrounded by nature, a space dedicated not only to live entertainment but also to the care and well-being of people and the enhancement of the environmental heritage. «A gate open to the world to encourage the exchange of ideas, projects and inclusive and courageous visions», as the festival’ site describes itself.
