Near Milan, six families share living space, responsibility and community

Chiara and Luca live with their families in a shared house. Six families share rooms and services on six floors. The concept is called cohousing. Each family has its own apartment, but three floors are used as common spaces.

The purpose is to live alongside other people. This is not always easy and requires a special commitment. But for the families, the benefits of living together outweigh the disadvantages.
