La Cañada Real (Spain): 2 years without electricity

La Cañada Real is a neighborhood in Madrid that is 14 kilometers away from the center. It is a 16-kilometer straight line divided in sectors that have been affected by power cuts. The power would be cut off and on until October 2nd, 2020 when it was cut off permanently. Today, the municipality still denies the access to electricity to this neighborhood. El Salto met Houda, president of the Tabadol Neighborhood Association who fights for the rights of the inhabitants of the neighborhood.
