In Warsaw, students demand affordable accommodation, meals and fairly paid jobs

Though higher education, according to the Polish Constitution, is free, many students in the country struggle with basic necessities, from affordable accommodation to getting meals at the canteens. In a fight for these basic rights, students across Poland are protesting.

They want to have access to dormitories, the student cafeteria and student jobs that are fairly paid.

@KrytykaPolitycznaTV joined students from Warsaw University and talked to them about their problems and the solutions they propose.
