In November 2021, there were more than 100 women murdered in France

On November 14, an 84-year-old woman was killed by her husband. This is the 101st femicide in France since the start of the year. This Tuesday, a hundred women gathered in front of the Pantheon. Candles in hand, they paid tribute to women murdered by their partner or ex-partner. In 2020, 102 women were killed. In several European countries, femicides have increased significantly since the health crisis.
