How are dogs surviving during heatwaves?

There are currently around 350,000 dogs in Budapest, but the number is growing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many adopted dogs to get out of the house and to combat loneliness.

But between limited outdoor spaces and unbearable heat in the summer, life in the city can be tough for animals.

Our partners ‪@negynegynegy‬ went to the streets of Budapest to find out how many dogs can the city handle and how can they survive the heatwaves.
