His passive house runs on 50 cents of energy a day

The house of Giorgio Malavasi, a journalist who works for a local newspaper in the province of Venice, runs on just 50 cents of energy a day. His house is 85% autonomous and doesn’t generate CO2. The passive house of Malavasi is an environmental success with solutions that “are within everyone’s reach”, to be economically advantageous, even in times of inflation.
