Eid in Marseille: a community celebration

A quarter of Marseille’s population is Muslim. So what happens in the city when Eid, the most important Muslim holiday of the year, is celebrated?

To mark the end of Ramadan, @StreetPress filmed the Eid al-Fitr celebrations in Marseille. The programme included attending a mass prayer, meeting hairdressers, footballers and rappers, and sampling samosas in the Castellane neighbourhood.
