An escape to rural France: from the Sziget to a renovate a castle. The life of András Derdák

András Derdák is a European traveller. Before the pandemic, we was spending his time between Paris and Budapest, between being a culture official in the city of lights and one of the brain of the Sziget festival. But in March 2020, his story took a drastic turn. As lockdowns were implemented and borders closed to contain the Covid–19 pandemic, he was left with basically nothing to do.

It was time for him to change his life! For the first video of our series “Stories Breaking Borders”, he met @negynegynegy in South-Eastern France, near the town of Montpellier. This is where with his family he decided to renovate a old mansion — dare we say — a castle.
