Young men are feeling lonely. Why?

Most of the power in the world rests in the hands of men. Men dominate politics and business. But living in a patriarchal society also means that men are pressured to hide their emotions and play tough.

Men from the lower classes start working earlier, contribute the most to the state budget in relation to their earnings, and at the same time live shorter lives and are more likely not to even reach retirement age. Polish men commit suicide six times more often than Polish women.

Two journalists, Patrycja Wieczorkiewicz and Aleksandra Herzyk, spent a lot of time on forums for young men who feel excluded. They explain their findings.
