Soteur, the artist starting a conversation about the political aspect of street art

Sotiris Fokeas “SOTEUR” is a multidisciplinary artist, born and raised in Athens, Greece. His work revolves around street art, conceptual art, installations, and performance.

At its core, it has always been about the polarity between private and public spaces, with the public being either the streets or the internet through social media platforms.

His colorful work is political starting a conversation about art in the public space and how it changes the image of the city. This interview tackles the issue of the work of street artists, art in public spaces, the political aspect of street art, and how his works are a political comment on modern society.
