At least 10 European states, including Poland, Czechia and France, are calling for the EU to include nuclear power as a sustainable investment to achieve climate neutrality. The EU Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, has proposed to invest up to 50 billion euros to renovate the plants and maintain current production levels up to 2050.
