Louisette, aged 81, is bound to her wheelchair and her flat

Louisette is 81. Born in Tunisia in an Italian family, she arrived in France with her parents at the age of 14.

She worked at a variety of jobs until she developed a health problem that made it impossible for her to stand. Today, Louisette is in a wheelchair and lives alone. Her apartment is on the 1st floor, but she can’t get out without help. Alone in her flat she feels isolated, like a prisoner.

She only gets a chance to go outside once in a while, when volunteers from a local collective come by.
