In a Spanish village, a rural cinema fosters community

Fresnedillas de la Oliva is a town with less than 2,000 inhabitants near Madrid, but for months now has been a film set. A cooperative brought the idea of filming a horror short to this municipality, involving all the inhabitants as cast members.

Caterina Rimelli and Nino Morante, the scriptwriters, aim to foster community through artistic and educational experiences. Our partners ‪@elsaltotv‬ went to see for themselves.
