From Afghanistan to Europe: the story of Mahdi Azizi

Mahdi Azizi, a young refugee shares his personal story. Forced to fleeromAfghanistan due to retaliations by theh Taliba, it took him 4 years to reach Europe, following the Balkan route. Along his trip, he face discriminations and racist attacks. But he also experience positive encounters. For instance, No Name Kitchen, a Spanish NGO working in the Balkan area to help migrants. Mahdi shares his feeling vis à vis the EU’s action in matters of migration, as well as the decision by the US and the EU to abbandon Afghanistan in the hands of the Taliban.
