Christian and trans: living her identity despite prejudice

Niurka Gibaja was born into a religious family and was educated in a nuns’ school. She says that her trans identity and her Christian faith are not at odds, but complement and enrich each other.

Niurka wants to combine and fully live both her trans identity and her Christian faith, despite the prejudice from both ecclesiastical and queer communities.
