What’s the point of green spaces in cities? In Budapest, Mark Richards, compost master in the Aurora Climate Garden, has a strong opinion on this: those spaces should be community-centred, focused on not what looks good, but on what actually helps the environment, and play the long game. For his project, it all started with trash, or, more specifically, compost: a crucial element of every garden.
