A day in the life of Diodio and Eva out in the streets of Paris

Diodio is a 44-year-old mother who found herself homeless in May. Tendinitis forced her to leave her work as a carer, and after accumulating rent debts and going through a separation, she was evicted from her home with Eva, her 4-year-old daughter.

Today she is on the street. When they’re lucky, they get to sleep in a tent, on a mattress in a large building. When they’re less lucky, they’ll sleep on the street.

Our partners ‪@streetpress‬ followed Diodio for a day in Paris.
