On Polish-Belarusian border, there is no place for compassion

Despite recent political shifts in Poland, refugees continue to face dire conditions, with the crisis showing little signs of resolution. @KrytykaPolitycznaTV reporter interviewed Hanna Machińska, Ph.D., a former Deputy Polish Ombudsman (2017–2022) and an esteemed lawyer and social activist.

She explains, how officers, who initially had compassion and empathy for migrants and were ready to give away their shoes to those in need, over time turned into cold-blooded officials of the government.
