For the past decade, Popaganda has been covering stories that reflect social issues and highlight the cultural phenomena of each era. Journalistic integrity, respect for objective information, inclusivity, empathy, and aesthetics are the pillars of Popaganda. Through its carefully curated articles, our content focuses on human stories that capture social change and the ever-evolving culture.
Far from the “alternative or mainstream” binary, for the past two years, Popaganda has been a partner of the Sphera Network, a European network of ten independent media outlets. Popaganda’s sole purpose is to inform millions of Europeans by producing mini-documentaries and social media content and organizing online and offline events about what is happening in society and what concerns today’s dynamic generations.
Popaganda celebrated its first decade and two years of participation in the Sphera network with an all-day event on Sunday 28 April in Romantso. Guests who have contributed to social change through their roles and actions joined three different roundtable discussions on topics that concern society today. The event included dozens of mini-doc screenings from Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Hungary and Greece. And of course, the roundtables were followed by a big Sunday party with the Purple Night team.
